How to report a member for not delivering the part but taking my money?

Dear FBBO-Member,

I found a part in the „parts for sale“ area and contacted the member and we had a deal. I transferred the money but he never sent it out. Just hearing excuses since one year but now I got no replies from him anymore.
Is there an admin to forward the case and name of the member?

That's a real dog act to do that to someone, especially if they are overseas.
More info required for sure, but maybe don't name them just yet, give them a chance to read this thread once you explained your side and reply with their version of events?

I read that, but I thought it would be fair to see some correspondence between them first about what the part is and why it hasn't been sent. Money sent but not received, confusion over address and subsequent postage costs, illness etc.
I've read enough online reviews and responses from the business to know that there's often more to the story than the complainant suggests.

In answer to your question, no. Neither the Admin. nor the Moderators hold any liability in the the deals that are made between members in this forum. They try to help where they can, but ultimately the burden rests with the members involved.

That being said, I'm very sorry to hear that this happened, I hate when rat bastards screw people over. Hopefully, you'll get this straightened out, but I wouldn't count on it if it's been over a year without reconciliation.

I am sorry, but the Site Admin's and Moderator are unable to assist with deals that go bad - that is between members here.

However, if you provide details here that substantiate your claim, we allow you to publish your case - facts not fiction and get the word out to hopefully prevent someone else being ripped off like this.

Try not to post personal details like the seller's address and phone number - UserID will suffice for now.

There may be a history with this guy, and conversely, he might be in hospital injured - it has happened before. A witch-hunt with a genuine excuse is not good either.

I've been pretty fortunate so far when buying from members here. All have been pretty honest, and delivered as expected.

I think its fair after a year to tag the member name in this thread and say tell your side of the story if you want to do biz here in the future.

his screen name/avatar, the real sir name if need be

this stuff needs to be public, for everyones protection
or for information/warning if nothing else

if the person has died or hospitised, then it will show up sooner than later
