What's it Worth 1969 Coronet on eBay

Discussed the vinyl top. It does seem to be original. In our conversation he also disclosed that "black goo" has been applied at the top of the windshield to stop a leak. That took the wind out of my sails. Then he also said the rear seat will need to be reupholstered as it's cracked and a repair is not holding up. More pictures sent.

I could easily look over those defects if the price was $15,000 instead of $25,000.

I agree. Pass. Window leak could be due to rust under vinyl. Not for $34k. $15-$18k and make it your driver, grocery getter, cruise in nights, but definitely don’t expect to win any car show awards.

I haven't looked at prices in awhile, but I thought $15K would be mostly a roller needing just about everything?

I am still interested in the car just not at the asking price. I'm trying to schedule a road trip to see it. Unfortunately with work and commitments I can't get out there for about two weeks. I didn't want to leave the seller hanging, so I told him if the car is still available I'll be in touch. I'm not buying sight unseen.

I've wanted to see the Petersen museum for years, so this will make the trip worthwhile.

I definitely like the car. I don't know where a lot of these $15-$19k prices are coming from. Sounds like you are dealing with a honest seller and a honest car. The few things that need done wouldn't cost a ton.
