Sidemarker flasher issues...am I low on blinker fluid?

I've been researching this issue and I've come across conflicting info. Do the 1970 Charger sidemarkers flash when signalling left/right? My sidemarkers are all working when park lights or headlights are on, but don't blink, no matter what I've tried.

Background: I installed all LED bulbs in my instrument panel, including the L/R turn signal indicators. I also have LEDs installed in my hood.

With the good old-school 552 flasher cans installed, my 4-way flasher works and my park lights & taillights work, and will also signal L/R, per usual.

However, nothing I've tried will get the sidemarkers to blink. I have tried 3 different supposedly LED-compatible flasher units and none of them work; I've read that you need these if you have LEDs installed but my only LEDs are in the dash & hood indicators, and when I tried any of these LED flashers, NOTHING flashes; not the markers, nor the park/taillights. Hence, I put the old 552 cans back in.

What I've researched is it appears since the sidemarkers ground to the body differently than the park/taillights, the wiring isn't there to have them blink, and a separate single wire must be run to each sidemarker from the park/taillights, which actually makes sense. I don't plan on putting LEDs in my sidemarkers, park or taillights, just for the record.

Any ideas why my sidemarkers won't blink, or is that perhaps the way it is without the wiring mod I read about?

Here's my follow-up question: Why do the front sidemarkers have a 2-wire connector while the rear ones only have a single wire bulb and connector?

If all the sidemarkers do is light up but not blink, I wonder why the fronts wouldn't ground the same way as the rears. Seems odd.

This was just a guess. You would think bolting on front fenders would create a ground at some point but the engineers probably figured it was cheaper to add a ground wire rather than having BS warranty claims 'cause the marker(s) don't work.

Ahh yes, that skank...just another trollop with fake tits looking for any opportunity to whip 'em out. Maybe if I used silicone instead of blinker fluid, my bulbs would flash too.

The marker lights in the fenders are subject to all the road crap from the tires.....well, at least some of it. The rears are in the trunk area and are protected better since they don't see any crap from the underside of the body and and chances for corrosion and quit working.
