School me on door hinge date codes.

Some of the ones I have are stamps but some are not. I assume these are date codes so how do I decipher?

After pulling one of my originals I do not believe they are date codes as the top hinge has 0950 which would mean the 95th day of `70 but my car was built in December `69?

Door sticker confirms build date of 12-1969. I'm 99% sure this hinge is original to the car.

Still can't find anyone to answer this. Here is the passenger side hinge which again I'm 99% sure has never been removed from the car, if it was a date codes it would be 92nd day of 1974.

I actually don't really care about correct date codes for my road runner as it is just going to be a driver not a concours restoration. I was just curious what they meant when I realized they don't work as date codes but after asking on multiple sites with no answer now I REALLY need to find out just so I know, because now not knowing is driving me a bit crazy!

Doubt it as every one is different, I don`t think they would have that many vendors.

It will be a date or batch code .....you probably cannot find the answer to the decoding because hardly anyone would have kept records of such a part.

It's not like carbs or wiper motors where everyone looks first.

I am now thinking they are batch/lot codes as they make no sense as date codes and too many different ones to be vendor codes. Below are the numbers from my four original ones.

Drivers top 0950 & 0988
Passenger top 0924 & 0962
Drivers bottom 1049 & 1070
Passenger bottom 1049 & 0999
All four have a big P stamped on them
