2025 15th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - I Can't Wait!!!

Howdy
Much fun was had in Vegas enjoying awesome food, Entertainment, and Racing. Best of all watching Force and Hagen getting it done and Angie almost getting it done.

Update with only the NHRA Finals to go...

If I correctly read how the points accumulate, a maximum of 191 points are available at the In-N-Out Burger Finals (191 points).
What drivers need to push a little harder?
Here are the current drivers still mathematically within range of the current leader in each of the four professional classes following the Nevada Nationals:

Top Fuel
2,607 Doug Kalitta
2,463 Shawn Langdon (-144)
2,444 Justin Ashley (-163)

Funny Car
2,594 Austin Prock
2,493 Matt Hagan (-101)
2,416 Jack Beckman (-178)

Pro Stock
2,666 Dallas Glenn
2,574 Greg Anderson (-92)

Pro Stock Motorcycle
2,584 Richard Gadson
2,563 Gaige Herrera (-21)
2,455 Matt Smith (-129)
2,421 Angie Smith (-163)

2,399 Brayden Davis (-185)

It ain't over 'til it's over!

mineshaft air, a lil' cloud cover
as long as the track isn't too cold, I think it will be under 90*s, (100*f max) track temps all day
would be great, maybe record type great
should be a 'great world finals'

I wonder how fast (340 ?) & quick (3.80's) F/C Austin Prock will go too
should be a good race to watch (Like most all are, when it's not a smoke fest)

Look for JFR's T/F Britteny to do some MPH, 340+ at Pomona (?) mid 3.60's (?)
Grubby will pull out all the tricks, one last time for her, at her home track
The last race for her for the foreseeable future, into retirement at like 32-34 (?)
going out to produce future 'Team John Force Racer Babies'
wonder when Noha (Ashleys oldest son John's oldest grandchild from that batch)
is gonna get in the seat (?), should be coming close

@ocdart
Change my Picks please

I can't win the season but maybe be a spoiler & go up a few spots
points & a 1/2 baby

T/F Briteny Force
(last hurrah)
(records ?, if she does well on the lights)

F/C Austin Prock,
clinched (?) another championship
(records ?)

P/S Dallas Glenn
(& a championship too)
I think he may pull it off over 'the Boss/Greg',
but Greg loves Pomona/it treated him very well
(records ?)

P/SM Gaige Herrara
He doesn't want his Vance/Hines teammate/s to beat him, it's so close
(records ?)
I really wanted to go with Matt Smith & Buell's for the last race,
I hope Matt gives them Suzuki's fits (6.70's @ 202 ?)
I just think that the Suzuki's 'Mozilla' have a better advantage now
2 really 'light' riders also
rules or weight changes again, next season ?

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
& I HOPE FBBO WINS AGAIN

It's time for your final 'Tuesday before the race' notice of the 2025 season, the 60th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, November 13-16, at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
Please check the driver entries and post your picks before Pro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points.

The entry cutoff was at 4:00pm EDT (1:00pm PDT) yesterday and the nhra.com website shows the following entry counts:
11 Top Fuel
21 Funny Car
18 Pro Stock
16 Pro Stock Motorcycle

As always, I suggest you double-check to make sure all of your driver picks are racing. There have been some no-shows at recent race events of the season. If your posted driver skips the event and you do not select a replacement prior to the start of eliminations, I will use your posted driver from the most recent completed event. Unfortunately, any replacement driver after the start of qualifying will not be eligible for any event bonus points.

The current updated weekend weather forecast shows a shaky chance of getting this race in on schedule:
* Friday currently shows a better than 60% chance of rain throughout the day with a high temperature of 60F
* The forecast for both Saturday and Sunday is a better than 40% chance of rain throughout the day with a high temperature of 60F on Saturday and 62F on Sunday
* Monday and Tuesday weather forecast is for partly sunny and a high temperature of 63F

The annual NHRA Awards banquet is usually scheduled for the Monday following the Finals. It will be interesting to see how they work this out if the weather extends qualifying and eliminations to Monday or beyond.

The current television schedule for the NHRA Finals...
* Qualifying Show 1: 6:30-8:00pm EST (3:30-5:00pm PST), Friday, November 14 on FS1
* Qualifying Show 2: 11:00am-12:30pm EST (8:00-9:30am PST), Sunday, November 16 on FS1
* Finals Eliminations: 5:00-8:00pm EST (2:00-5:00pm PST), Sunday, November 16 on FS1

Check your local television listings or www.nhra.com if there are any weather delays in the racing.

All television coverage will also re-air at later times. Check www.nhra.com.

Don't miss out!
