New Door Panels

Hello! I’m replacing the upper door panels in my ‘74 Charger. But the replacement panels don’t have pull straps like the originals. Any ideas on how to incorporate pull straps?

Hate to see you cut new door panels but could you use the old ones as templates and for the new ones and transfer over with that old setup?

I was hoping to do that, but I can’t find the straps themselves. I only have one of the originals.
