Actually, I think that's a sunbeam alpine.

The tiger had the ford v8 transplant.

Yeah, those RR bearings had a cartridge that screwed into them. If the bearing overheated, it would emit a foul smelling gas. Wiseguys at work would occasionally get one of these cartridges, and heat it up so it would release this gas. Indoors, it would stink up a large area for quite a while!
They used to. Then they had the cartridges inserted into the roller bearing adapters. But now, (since the late 1980s) without a caboose crew in the back to detect the smell, they don't use them any longer.

Pretty Fancy! (MIGHT BE BORING)
Especially the shotguns. Brings back memories.
13 years old, got a Cooey Youths model .22 cal single shot for my birthday. That winter I would walk to what we called the mile long slough which happened to be close to 3/4 of a mile away. It was very bushy and hilly around it.
I installed a sling. Had an over the shoulder carrying bag for the rabbits. We didn’t have a dog at that time. But had cats. Two cats especially, Moma (which I was told I named when I was about 4) and Queenie would come with me.
I would put on the snowshoes and go hunting. The cats followed. I would shoot rabbits, put them in the bag and head back. You could count on the cats starting to stop and lift their paws. Sometimes I would end up with a cat under each arm part of the way.
Get home, skin them out and put the skins on stretcher boards, which Dad made. When the pelts were ready Dad would drive me to the local small town general store. I think I might have gotten .25cents a pelt from Mr. Pura. The carcasses were put in a closed shed and fed to the cats.
My father’s friend who was much older told me that if could get two rabbits with one shot he would say I was good. I did finally get lucky, but it wasn’t a good kill. So I didn’t spend more time doing that.
Those were times that you had freedoms, not much real fear. Nearest friends were almost a mile away. Summertime, if it was slow day not much going on. I might tell my Mother I was taking my bike and going fishing at the river. Close to 2 miles away. Her answer was don’t be late for supper
