First trip under its own power in 32 years

It was 32! I’ve only had it about 2 years. I got it from a good friend that parked it in ‘89.

First trip under its own power in 32 years

Thanks guys. I’ve had it about 2 yrs. I got it from a good friend of mine, it had been parked in a shed since ‘89. I rebuilt the engine and went through the brakes. Still a long way to go, but it was good to actually get to drive it!

I finally got this thing to move under it’s own power this week. First time for it in 32 years and first time for me ever! Still a long way to go.

    Intake installation...troubles

I appreciate you guys being so helpful. I used Fel-Pro 1214. At this point I believe I will just go ahead and order another one and redo it. I’d rather do it now than risk having to do it after I put it in the car. I’m hoping to get this thing moving under it’s own power for the first time since...

    Intake installation...troubles

I appreciate all the replies. I dry fit the intake and it fit ok. Fit ok with just the valley pan. Was hard to get on with one set of gaskets and valley pan, impossible with both sets of gaskets and valley pan. I guess I will order a new valley pan and start over. While I’m asking stupid...

    Intake installation...troubles

I have read that several places for a B as well. I have also read use the gaskets..... the manual I have is showing gaskets along with the valley pan. The valley pan came with gaskets so I decided to use them. This is the first mopar I’ve messed with. I’m thinking at this point it might be “ok”...

    Intake installation...troubles

I have a 383 that the heads have not been milled on. I tried to install a new torker 383 intake manifold with no luck. At first I had a gasket between valley pan and block, gasket between valley pan and intake. I could not get the intake bolted on! I currently have the intake bolted on the...

    Door will not open

Finally got it open this afternoon. Ended up taking the passengers side door panel off so I could see how everything was supposed to work. The “star mechanism” was froze up.

    Door will not open

Thanks guys. I pulled the door panel this afternoon. Once again not a lot of time to mess with it. Sprayed everything down with pb blaster. Hopefully will have time to mess with it tomorrow. It doesn’t look rusty, but obviously something in there is froze up.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics yet. Beanhead that was my first thought but getting to fat for that lol. The car sat under a carport untouched from 92 til around 2012. Has been sitting outside since then. Green/green 383 auto

    Door will not open

Hey fellows, I’m new to the mopar world! Have been trying to trade a friend out of a 69 charger for years and have finally made a deal. I haven’t got it home yet. Aired up the tires today and will hopefully get it home this week. The last time we fooled with the car (6 years ago) both doors...
