    1964 Dodge Polara "done"

I finally have this car done to 97%. I say this since they are never really "done". It started life as a 318 car and now has a 1964 426 wedge (+0.060") Lots of performance parts. All good stuff. Looking to race it this spring. Hoping for 12 's. I'll post once the front end hits the timing lights.

1964 Fury non AC heater control valve. HELP!!

I rebuilt my own heater control. Took out all the old plastic pins and replaced them with copper tubing. They are press fit and I added a little JB weld insurance. Not all that hard. Be careful not to drill to deep as there is a "slider" under the holes that direct the vacuum. when you push the...

1964 Dodge Polara seat belt upgrade

Anyone out there have any information about upgrading seat belts in a 64 Polara? Specifically a shoulder harness without a roll bar. Thanks, Bill

1964 Dodge Polara - running and on the road...finally

Well, my 64 Polara 426W (+0.060) is on the street. Not legally yet, but on it anyway. Its not perfect, but I'm not out to impress anyone but me. I built this car from a rough start and have all the photos to prove it. It is resurrected. Most everything works too. The engine runs great with no...

The trans linkages is in and adjusted. I welded in a section 2 1/2" long to the downshift rod (at the bottom). This keeps the rod in the proper position for a streight push-back. A friend of mine added 2" to his 63 down shift rod on the top section and that never worked right. So I learned form...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

I hooked up my push button shift linkage on my 64 Polara. Now I got to go out and put the trans pan back on. Then I have to extend my downshift rod by ~2" and get that set correctly.

All my glass went in OK. The rear was way easier than the front. Lots of soapy water. Love the Roadrunner. My pal in high school had one wand we did a lot of street racing.

I do have a spacer under the carburetor. Intake is a Mopar Performance Wedge intake.
