this is a warning. do not buy a tank from rock auto. i bought one and according to the info, it came with the lock ring and a filler gasket. i didn't get those. i filled out their missing parts nonsense and waited. first email i told them what i was missing and they sent a lock ring kit. nice...
i got a chance to buy a new gas tank for my '63 belvedere about 100 bucks less than all the other ones i see. the problem is it says it's for a '65. from the pic it looks the same and is 15.1 gal like my '63. are they the same?
do you people actually build cars. just re-arc your springs yourself. it's not hard to do. take them apart and use a vice or two boards several inches apart and hit the spring with a big freaking hammer!! i made a tool that uses a bottle jack. easy peezy

i am not sure you all get what i am saying. all i want to know is, can i put the pumpkin and the axles in the early housing. i know i have to cut and respline the axles. it's just a matter of measuring the early ones and cut the newer ones the same. what is this thrust block? if i use the same...
i have a '63 belvedere with the stock rear end. i know you all will say just get a later rear end and i have several ones too. what i would like to do is use the pumpkin and axles from one and put them into my original. i don't want to have to cut down the later one to match the width of the...
