Hello all, just wanted to see what you all thought as far as if I should patch the quarters on my GTX or just replace them? Both sides have where someone patched the lower area behind the wheel but did a crappy job and missed a rust hole towards the bumper, they welded it in at an angle so I...
I think I’m going to pass on this one, especially seeing the welded bearing retainer. I’ll probably just go with a brewers set up when the time comes just so I can get all the little parts and pieces all together. Thanks for the help everyone!!
Hello all, I was looking to buy this a833 23 spline for my 70 GTX from a local guy and wanted to see if you think it’s a good deal. It’s a 23 spline, comes with the bell housing, crossmember, pedals, and various other brackets etc. He wants $1500 for it all, looks like the trans probably will...
Yeah not having to splice the two piece pan would be nice, so realigning the tail panel is pretty easy? Also with the wheels on the ground that won't effect anything right? I know these bodies are pretty tough I just don't want anything to get tweaked.

As you can see my trunk pan and extensions really need replaced, luckily its the most rusty part on the car. I have been doing research and would like to give it a try instead of paying someone to do it. Before I dig into it much more, I wanted to see if anybody had some helpful...

Here's some pictures, I think I know what my problem is, the power steering pump pulley needs to move up a little, I laid a square across the front of the crank pulley and it sat a little in front of the power steering pump, I bet that's my problem. What do you guys think?
It's on a 70 gtx 440 with AC, I'm converting it to non Ac and bought the alternator bracket, alternator, water pump pulley, and crank pulley, everything looks to line up ok it's just that clearance is tight. I'll get some more pictures this evening. Thanks
Hello all, I'm sure this has been covered on here before but I couldnt find it. What's the typical spacing between the power steering pump belt and water pump pulley on a non ac 440? Mine is really close to the water pump pulley where it transitions from the pulley area to the snout, I might try...
