Hey y'all, looking for recommendations for a reliable quality tech in southwestern Ontario to install a flaming river steering column into my 72 satellite.

Did anyone know the standard wire colour for the "neutral switch" coming out of the factory column shift column? The column shift is defunct and handle removed but if the old column shift collar moves the wrong way the car doesn't start because it thinks its moving out of neutral or park...

Just following up, might anyone know which length of steering column is correct for 72 Satellite? I regret I don't know where else to look, and I've google searched

Update, my mechanic said I need 1) spark plug wires with an abrupt 90 degree angle at their end, as well as 2) short stemmed plugs that don't protrude much from the engine block, because right now my plug heads and connected wires are painfully close to the headers. The fabric-like heat...

Thanks I think I'm all set! Except I can't find the little doo-dads that ride on the valve cover bolt locations and elevate the spark plug wires away from the engine? Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance!

Hey as usual checking the forum for input before buying parts, looking for guidance / sourcing for replacement parts to partially tune up my 72 Satellite 400ci : 8 Plugs 8 Wires (would very much like silicone jacket) 8 of those brackets that mount on the valve cap screws and hold up the plug...

(Cont'd) I'm pretty sure vents are on drivers side not front of tank, possibly because my car was rebuilt as a 71 clone by last owner. I'll look over everything again this weekend before ordering parts and booking service.

Tubes are cracked but I'll check VS also. And that's a good reason to keep vents.

Roger that! I'm I the US twice a month but I'll check national for pricing. 4 vents on mine. Do I have to keep these vents? What would happen if I got one without? The vents are presently cracked and the source of this trouble.
