Best A12 runner rebop L.O. hood?

Makes sense. If there is a mark up, they earned it. In any case, sounds like the Y.O. hood is the go to. Now I just need to get more feedback as far as prep, paint , and drilling. Appreciate feedback from anyone who's worked with a raw rebop hood.

Best A12 runner rebop L.O. hood?

Excellent question. Anyone have any clues? I bet they're made in China.:eusa_doh:

    A12

Cool thread. I have a driver that I'm converting to an A12 clone but this is merely for external appearance not to win awards. I'll be keeping everything as is including the 383 4bbl. Question: How have some of you prepped, sanded, painted, and drilled your L.O. hoods if you have...

Best A12 runner rebop L.O. hood?

Been tryin' to piece together feedback in threads on different forums and still can't find a definitive vote for either the Y.O. or the AAR. Am doing a clone car and need the hood to go with a look-alike 6bbl style air cleaner lid set up for my 4bbl from these guys...

    Car storage

That sounds about right. Of course I imagine having someone start it at least once a month helps too. In the case of my car, it sat for 3+ years with 0 starts. :edgy: Won't be doing that next time of course.:black_eye...

    Looking for 15x6 steel wheels

Thanks for the 411. Found a set of wheels on a 73' Fury and they have an H. Though in this photo its tough to tell through the grime. I'm assuming and hoping they'll work on my runner. The bolt pattern is certainly the same.

    Car storage

Some great tips. Thanks for the replies. Apparently rodents don't like bathing. LOL. Well this time, as I hadn't added any stabilizers the fuel was of course toxic. Thankfully I opted to remove the tank and flush it instead of trying to run the engine first in order to save the fuel. Question...

    Car storage

Great thanks. I'll be looking for the ding dang critters in the wheel wells. On the flip side. What do some of you suggest as far as prepping for long term storage? Removing the wheels putting it on blocks etc...etc..? Full tank of fuel...empty tank of fuel?

    Looking for 15x6 steel wheels

In my quest to learn everything about these H wheels. What else can you tell me about backspacing, offset, bolt diameter numbers etc... I know its a large 5 bolt 3 nub but I'd like to get the complete specs. 4.25 or 4.50 backspacing? Thanks again I've heard the A100 vans had something...

Great thanks for the detailed image! Would that be the larger A12 H in the image?

    Car storage

Had my runner stored in the high desert for about three years with a full tank of fuel. Needless to say the rats were nesting and the cover got worn away. Unfortunately no one turned over the engine during that time. My question is what do some of you think makes for an ideal check list and...

    ride height

Does the service manual provide numbers? I'm wondering the same thing as I'm in the process of looking for the factory ride height as well. Seems to me it would differ depending on wheel/tire size.

    Looking for 15x6 steel wheels

How to tell the difference? Larger H and smaller H engraved? Other code numbers / letters? Other than the letter differences...same wheels? thanx
