Relays don’t cut the power demand. They just bypass in most of cases original power route or work as a switch. The power demand is allways the same since is a DEMAND from the accesories
As far I know, the PowerMaster 95 amps units come already with the small stock pulley made for our cars. Can’t recall the diameters thought. They are able to put around 65 amps at idle.
Several considerations here.
Most of aftermarket gauges are designed to work into the 0 to 90 ohms rate from sender (GM system) with full 12 volts source, while Mopars (also Fords) runs on 5 volts source at cluster and 10 to 70 ohms rate.
Think also on that. Using an aftermarket unit needs to...
Correct.
The three grouped prongs are horn relay section, while the one appart is the buzzer section. That’s for 71/73 Mopars. On 74 it became in only Horn relay while the buzzer was moved (prong disappeared) to a diff buzzer and controlled by the interlock box.
Both hazzard and turning signals...
Tipically and if still from factory, hazzard (heavy duty units) uses to be square while turnings are the traditional round ones. I think it was just about manufacturers…
We have talked about this on another thread not too long ago… yes two diff springs were available depending on hood.
As far I recall, obviously the spring was not a serviceable part, but a full hinge available for A/G and not A/G hoods
Search them as STANDARD MOLEX terminals. They are available in just two sizes. They are all around. eBay, Amazon, but electrical suppliers are the cheapest sources. Tipically sold in bulks on line
Back In the days you could go to a Radio Shack shop ( or any similar) and get them (Even in...
Recently a member contacted me about this, and I thought was good to ask to the crowd!
One of the reasons I got it was RELIABILITY, maybe more than the advertised performance itself, which also was an objective.
Have you ever known about some failed Rev-N-Nador box in all these years...
Voltage limiter is just for temp, oil and gas gauges.
Ammeter, clock, tach are independent.
Speedo is not an electric gauge.
Cluster gets ground (wired and chassis) but oil, temp and gas don’t need it. Senders send variable ground for them. Voltage limiter does need ground thought. A missed...
