74 Plymouth satellite SUNDANCE edition

So I have one of the super rare Sundance satellites. .I’m planning on selling it. .the more I look at it, the more I want to keep it. But I can’t keep it! I have too many now. Original motor and trans are gone. It has a 78 318 with some form of 4 speed automatic trans! I didn’t know that until I got it running and went for a drive. It runs, drives, and stops. Lights and turn signals work.Interior is there but aged of course. Trunk floor is good, floor pans are good, frame rails are good. In my opinion the old hog would be a fun drag car if someone big block swapped it. I have the hard to find vinyl top trim that belongs across the roof. So my question is. .whats a general value by everyone. .throw me some opinions for the heck of it. I’m not planning on pricing it out of sight. .I want some kid and his dad to enjoy messing with it. I don’t know either! It’s longer than an original 904 because the speedometer cable doesn’t reach. .would it be an a518 or something like that?

If I was a buyer I would like to know what I am buying. If I was the seller I would like to be able to answer all questions. It could affect the selling price.

I wouldn’t give more than $3000 for it. Parts are impossible to find, especially body panels. A 318 car is not very desirable anyway and you probably will never find the Sundance stuff to put back on the car without having it custom made. Stripes would need to be hand painted, interior would need to be custom made. The only reason I would give up to $3000 is for parts such as fenders and hood.

Value is just a bit more than a non-Sundance 318 car.

That's a "low line" dash. Does the VIN start with RL?

All I've seen were "Aztec" gold.

Whit's got to be the rarer of the two.

Those might be original "optional for 74" 15" C body style rallye wheels.

Spring Special: 1974 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Sundance

As was not uncommon for the time, Plymouth introduced a special spring promotion to help kick sales up a notch. Called the Sundance (option code A77), this specially-trimmed Satellite Sebring featured your choice of Aztec Gold metallic or Spinnaker White paint with a canopy vinyl top. Special exterior trim included an intricate, two-tone orange stripe that followed the same route (“up-and-over”) as the Road Runner’s, plus unique orange grille detail, and Sundance sunbursts on the front hood panel, C-pillar, and decklid. Capping it all off was a set of “Premier” wheel covers, which were also available for other Satellites.

I like the car. My sister had one and we drove that thing everywhere. If it were in better condition I'd be tempted to relive my youth. I don't think $3-4K as it sits now would be out of line considering what some are asking for near junk.

Not sure but SMS possibly has NOS fabric, they suprise me often with what they have.
