    It's not the typical rear seat in these. They fold down but probably not like you're thinking. And the back panel folds down from the trunk side. It's definitely a puzzle.

    Thanks, I'll give it a try. The key turns but it never really engages, and I don't want to break the key off. , ...and yes please, let me know what you think about the latches. I don't want to go digging around in there too deeply and scar something up.

    Is it possible to open the trunk of a 67 from inside by pulling the panel behind the back seat and getting to it? My lock is hosed. If not, what's my best course of action?

    I only had a minute at lunch to take a look at this, but with the field unplugged at the alternator and a number 6 wire connected from the positive side of the alternator to the positive side of the battery, I'm still not getting much in terms of a charge; 12.17, and not much more when I give it...
