Hi guys, I found an engine which block has 0E116942 stamping. E is the only one which I´m not 100% sure of. Casting date August 9th, 1969 and assembly date August 22nd, 1969. Has also E440, HP and backward C stamps.
Body was first blasted with crushed glass before body work, then it got epoxy all over the places before installing quarter panels and roof skin back to their places.. I’ve lot of photos if you’re interested.
Yes it had black vinyl roof and original color was PP1 darker red.
Guys, now I need to say that I started this post 4+ years ago asking ”how rare, 1/74” but since I started to build my car again, I’m not thinking that at all anymore. What I think about 5.7 modern Hemi with 545RFE transmission...
It´s early 68, March 21st built. It has early 68´s front window molding clips (from 67 model), sliding ash tray door etc small things which separates early and late models. I´ve read somewhere that around May they changed.. I´ve both the fender tag and build sheet.
So one thing led to another :D I sold that modern 5.7 and 545RFE transmission and all air suspension parts.
Car looked okay on those earlier photos but when the paint was removed, it was something else. Now it´s going thru major restoration, no leaf left unturned.. It already has gen2 Hemi with...
I´m looking for 0B129196 1970 383 Magnum engine. It actually belongs to my 1970 Challenger R/T JS27N0B129196 , but someone could have installed it to B-body also. If you have it, please let me know at least :)
Hi guys! I´ve 1970 GTX RS23V0A170281 and I´m looking for it´s fender tag and/or build sheet. I´m offering $500 reward to someone who finds my car´s fender tag and/or build sheet. About the car´s history: It is V-code 440 six-barrel (six-pack) car. I believe it was originally FJ5 lime light green...
Hi guys. I have 2006 5.7 truck hemi and 545rfe transmission combo in my '68 Charger now. I'll get my car painted, and that's why we pulled out the whole engine/transmission combo couple weeks ago. I'm thinking now whether to update new motor or not.. I'm interested in buying a new 6.4 gen3 hemi...
Hi everyone!
Year ago I bought my 1968 Charger. It already had 5.7 gen3 Hemi engine swapped with modern transmission, disc brakes and Ridetech air suspension. I´ve searched mymopar.com site and I noticed that my car is 1 of 74 1968 Chargers produced with 383 2bbl and 4 speed floor shifter. I...
