    Help

Here is a side by side comparison between a '70 b body (on the left) and '66 (on the right). There are a few minor differences (holes) but I think they are basically the same due to 66-70 b bodies being the same platform. You can cut and section a piece in if need be, that's what I did on the...

    Air grabber hood hoses install

Hello Wile E. Coyote, the two indentations on the firewall between the heater box nuts is where the canister mounts and the hoses route through where the indentation above the heater hoses are. I hope this helps. (At least that's how it was on my RR)

    70 Roadrunner restoration

So I ran into a bit of a head scratcher. It appears that the wheelhouse halves weren't spot welded together, but rather a continuous fuse weld. Any ideas how to get it apart? I think I may need a plan B that I don't have right now, lol.

    70 Roadrunner restoration

Did a once over on the motor... I think it has very little run time on it. No ridge in the cylinders, bearings look almost new, lifters and cam look brand new. Found a set of 440 source heads locally that were never used, so I picked them up. Just buttoning it back up.

    Floor pan replacement question

I ran into the same problem. I ended up cutting the floor pan down the middle to get it into the car. It wouldn't fit because it's a post car. I welded it back up no problem. I don't think it matters which way you cut it. Hope this helps!

    Carlisle

Have you looked at Trivago, Steve? I know last year you could get rooms fairly cheap a week before the show in Carlisle just off I81. Just a thought.

    70 Roadrunner restoration

Thanks RM23U0A. It is going to get interesting, dad was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia about 6 months ago, but I have a bad feeling that it is Alzheimers. I have pretty much moved everything to the new place, so now the work can resume. I will update with the hood shenanigans when I work on it...
