I pulled the rear seats out of my 69 convertible a long long long time ago and can't figure out how to get them back in. Any help would be appreciated
1. Do the seat posts go on the inside or the outside of the mounting brackets?
2. Do I need to remove the rear quarter armrests to reinstall...
I'm trying to figure out where people are getting their FJ5. I can only find one source in California for $250/quart and no one seems to have the formula. I am ready to paint the engine bay of my car FJ5, but don't want to run into a sourcing issues when I decide to paint the exterior in a...
Thanks for the reply. Going new harness anyway. this thing is a complete rebuild. I think I'm just going to suck it up and buy a Rallye frame and sell off my current frame. Probably cheaper in the long run anyways.
I'm looking to convert my 69 Coronet Convertible w/ the original standard dash(granny dash) to the Rallye Dash or something very close to it. I am not making a tribute or a numbers matching car so it being EXACT is not my concern. I just want the look of a Rallye Dash. Is there any way to do...
Four wheel disc, correct. I haven't figured out anything with gearing yet because I don't know what wheels/tires I will be running. Apparently figuring that our first is the way to go. I am starting from scratch. The car doesn't have anything in it that I am going to use.
The car didn't come with an 8 3/4" so I have to buy something new no matter what. For some reason, I thought 500HP+ started to push the limits of the 8 3/4". I could be totally be making that up so feel free to chime in if that's not accurate. The motor going in is 485HP stock, but it's very...
I'm going to be running a 392 Hemi and Tremec 6 Speed in my 69 Coronet. Hoping for rear end recommendations. So far, I have only looker at Moser Dana 60 style rear ends. Anywhere else I should be looking?
I am looking to buy a 392 crate, wiring harness, headers and everything else needed to drop the 6.4 into my 69 Coronet. I am already running Gerst tubes up front so the engine bay should be ready. Does anyone know where the best/cheapest place is to source these parts new? Looking for both price...
Looking for this hood. Mine has a massive hole in it. Doing a full resto of a 69 Coronet 500 Convertible. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the flat hood is the same hood minus the scoops.
Thanks!
