What is a good fit header that will fit on a 71 Road Runner with a 383 and 4 speed?I am thinking 2 inch tubes ceramic coated.And maybe not to difficult to change the starter out.

It all depends how much you want to spend.
I would suggest shopping around summit, Jegs, and other sites to gauge the price that will suit you.

Unless that's a really stout 383 you don't want to use 2" tubes
 
Big tubes kill the torque in the middle of the curve. 1 3/4" should do nicely. Easier fit as well
 
Anyone have the TTI's 1 3/4 Polished ceramic with the thermal barrier.$870.00 ....ouch

How well do you like them?And how is the fit?
 
I have the TTI cerami and it was easy to install in my 73 RR.

Bought the whole system - all quality and good fit.

Little on the quiet side with the larger mufflers and 3 " system

Absolutely right. The 1 3/4 are the way to go. In the past, I've had Hedman, Thorley & Blackjack... if I recall, the Hedmans were better than the others.
 
Yep, 1.75" or 1.875" will be all you need. I've run both on 383's with good results.
