looking for some help. Been a while since I work on a engine.. I Turn ignition key get nothing..Battery good all light come on normal... If I jump starter relay at firer-wall it will start. Want to determine if it is ignition switch or starter relay is bad...Need wiring & procedure to test relay & switch. Thanks

off the top of my head i believe its a yellow wire going to the relay this is your ing wire pull it off hold a volt meter on it and have someone turn it over if you got juice at the yellow wire only when key is being turned then your ign switch is good and your relay is bad

I had the same thing on my gtx...It was a wire going into the fuse block on the firewall..

started checking connection. now the car starts fine after numerous try's.. I guess I have a intermit-in problem.I just don't want to start changing parts.

99% of the time, it's the relay sticking. If you cycle the key a few times, will it start or does it work fine after jumping the relay?

I checked connections, I have power when I turn ignition key to yellow wire at starter relay. It starts fine for now..This is the second time for a no start problem...I order starter relay, will replace & see what happens..
