Hi folks!

After having sold my Challenger and now being proud owner of a `68 Roadrunner, I also switched boards from "febo" to "fbbo".

My first post is a question regarding the Instrument-cluster/dash-panel the previous owner installed to my Roadrunner. He didn`t knew more than it should be "from an early `60s Plymouth".

Does anyone of you know from which car + year my instruments are and what it would take to make the speedo work with my 727TF-trans?

Picture attached below.

Hello Tobias!

Crazy, you've got that Dash in a 68 Roadrunner???!!!!

To me, it looks like 1964 Dodge!

It's got the push buttons in the left, for shifting.
later 727 will not work with pushbuttons, the missing mount for the push button-cable is the reason, I think.

You will need a column with a stickshift or console.

Please correct me!!!!

I only have a few exterieur parts for 68 Roadrunner (Taillights and Trunklid trim)
But I think I know one, who could have something for you! I will send you PM with his adress.

I'm from Germany too, so no overseas shipping, if you're intersted in parts!!

Wow.......a little ingenuity, and anything is possible. Someone here will be able to identify that for ya. I'm impressed how well someone got that to fit in there. Welcome to the site by the way.

Thanks Postman, for giving the hind to the `64 Dodge Polara as vendor of that instrument-cluster.

Sorry for misunderstanding: I don`t want to make the "push-button"-selection work with my TF727, I am happy with the console-shifted TF727 installed. I just want to make the speedometer work with my TF727. Maybe anybody can help here? Was the `64-Polara also available with a TF727 and was that Polara-TF727 transmission available with console-shifter?

Thanks in advance!

dash

that panel is for a 64 Dodge polara it was avaliable with both.you will need the later s piece speedo cable assbly. the early one had a small housing on the trans.end

LOL....that pic from postman is an actual 64 Dodge kdtjb. Looks like someone heisted a late 60's Dodge steering wheel and tossed it in that 64' though.

These are great news, thank you Steve! So there are quite good chances to make the Polara-speedo work in my Roadrunner :))) I am gonna crawl the year-one hp for the required speedo-cable.

*LOL*

The pic in my second post is from the net! I only wanted to show a 64 Dodge Dash!!!

Didn't want to confuse!!!

You can see the RR hood and fender in the first pic. That's just crazy!! Never seen anything like it.

Is that a roll cage I see in the second pic? Welcome to the site from the Motor City.

Thanks for welcoming me here aboard (all of you). Yes it`s a rollcage in my Roadrunner and yes, the previous owner did also fit an instrument-cluster of a - as I now know thanks to you guys - 1964 Dodge Polara.

@admin: thread can be closed, my initial question has been answered 100%.
