I have a 440 that is currently coupled to an automatic torqfite, i want to put a keisler 5 speed. Is there anything i would need to change internally on the engine to make this swap. Are the crankshafts different?

You do not have to change anything. The cranks are different but they sell a cool little pilot bearing that fits right in an automatic crank. I have a kiesler tremec kit in my car and its the way to go.

So have you bought yet? What will you be tossing the Keisler into?

I'm wanting to buy one too but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I got a 66 Coronet auto wanting an upgrade.

I want to put the keisler in my 67 charger. I think it would really bring out the true potential of the 440

the guys from tremac were excellent to deal with. if you buy the complete kit the bearing comes with it. bought one but not installed yet.
