OK, I have a 1968 GTX with 440 and 4 speed. Right now I have BFG Street slicks on 15X7 cop car wheels. I want to go to a wider tire size and a street legal (or close) tire. What is the widest tire I can fit without rubbing and what tire would you recommend

OK, Did a bit of research and here is what I am looking at:

Mickey Thompson: Mickey Thompson 3754R - Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial Tires

Or

Hoosier: Hoosier Racing Tire 17317 - Hoosier DOT Drag Radial Tires

in 275/60/15

Any suggestions?

I put the MT Ets on my ride last year and like them. I'm running 325-50x15 but have added clearance with tubs and shortened axles so I can't say about fit on yours.
