Has anybody had any experience with moving the springs in on a 67 coronet? I'm in the early stages of a street/strip build and I'm doing the body/chasis first. Looking to fit a wider tire under the car without actually having to do a complete tub on it. Thanks for any help....this site has been a great resource! I look forward to becoming a part of the community.

the welder is a friend of mine (in a manner of speaking) I'd like to get a max of an 11" slick under there for track days. (which I HOPE will be good enough....should be)

I made mine from some square tubing I cut to fit. NOt quite as pretty but functional. I located the original hole onto the outer side of thr frame rail and just left that side and bolted through it along with some plug welds. The rear shackle tube center is again located on the rear frame rail and then the proper size hole is drilled or cut so you can weld in the new tube. Knocking off the spring feet with a shop hammer after you hit the welds with a large angle grinder is quite easy and they are totally reuseable.
