1971 GTX, numbers matching, build sheet, data plate, a dry CA desert car. Restored 6 years ago, always garaged, Spring Fling 1st place winner. Super rare Whinchester gray, gun metal blue seats. Has 440, correct carb show resto, everything is correct, under carrage is factory primer, markings retained on axle, factory AC, PS, PDB, console, am-FM (added), original glass, all polished stainless, new chrome. New gas tank and many NOS parts including all 4 wheel opening moldings, even fuel filler and license plate holder zinc plated.

What else can I say, done right. $44,900.

Where are you coming up with the 1 of 6 number? They made 2211 1971 440 auto GTXs. There is no other provable data as to how many were made with option combos and only percentages of how many were made in the entire B body line per manufacturer (Plymouth) colors. You may be referring to a number from Galen Govier but his numbers only quote what he has in HIS registry. It is rare @ the number above compared to GM and Ford production stats for hipo cars in 1971 so just leave it at that.

Where do they get their stats? Is it available from Chrysler? If so I am not aware of it. If it comes from any where else then the numbers mean nothing as it could only be from gathered info from existing registered cars and those numbers would be just that.

We have option percentages for all 71 road runners and GTXs, but I am not aware of anywhere you can find combination of colors and options related to production numbers.
I see nothing about the OPs car that would lead me to believe it is one of 6....it does appear to be very nice though.

Best info i have indicates 1 of 6 paint code ga4 with gunmetal interior. This is a two time show winner. Was sold to sun city original buyer.
