I first figured they were Auto Drags, but then again, maybe not. At least not modern ones. They differ from the Outlaws I've seen too. The hole in the center cap is home made... someone figured Chevy spinners would be a good idea. Yes, Chevy spinners. With bowties on the spinner hubs.

Anyone?

They kind of look like old Enki {spelling} wheels too, cheap knock off of the Centerlines, back in the 80's

I thought Centerlines, always had 'Centerline' stamped in somewhere?

They look like vintage Centerlines to me, exactly like what's on my car -- but unfortunately that's all I can tell you...looks like the same wheels that came on my car, except instead of a homemade center cap, mine have new-style plastic American Racing center caps that I'm pretty sure aren't "correct" -- although I could find myself surprised when I get to digging deeper (bought the car 2 weeks ago, still getting to know her and figure out her history).

When I pulled them off last weekend, I didn't check to see if they're stamped with anything.

Personally, I think it's a darn good looking wheel though...

Thanks guys. I was told they were vintage Centerlines by someone when I bought the car, but wanted to check over here too.
As for stamping, I believe I've seen a pic of a wheel with CENTER LINE stamped on the inside somewhere. I'll have to check when taking the wheels off some day.

I agree fully... Auto Drags are among my absolute favorite wheels. The first Charger I saw (and instantly began to worship as the flagship of the B-bodies) was gloss black with Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires and Auto Drag wheels... a beautiful combination.

Which reminds me... need to polish mine properly...

They are an Enki Wheel! They came out in the early 80s! I've had 2 sets over the years. A nice wheel from the day! If I remember correctly they were only available in 14"

Cool. No info on Enki on the net - found something called Enkei, are those the ones? Also, how do one tell the real Auto Drags from the various knock-offs? what are the differences and/or tells?

easy way to tell if they are centerlines is the middle of the wheel.(inside the tire)real centerlines have a silicone beeded seal along the middle of the wheel.you can only see it with the tire removed.(any tire shop can dismount one side to check)original centerlines where the only ones that did this, the knock offs dont have the silicone beed.i used to sell performance wheels back in the day, thats why i know.

Thanks for the info, 67 coronet. So there are no stampings, text or numbers anywhere on a genuine Centerline?

I have never seen a Centerline wheel that did not have Centerline stamped on it. Here is a picture of a wheel (front & back) similar to yours although it is a "Weld Racing Zero Drag" wheel.

Same here...never seen a CL wheel without being stamped....

i dont think they are centerlines.centerlines had smooth rivetts and yours appear to dimpled.they are not enkei(correct spelling)since they use a special valve stem that has the nuts on the inside and yours are outside in your pic.was not worried about the stamping, could have been polished off in the past.

Yes, my rivets are indeed dimpled, a hex-shaped depression at that. Are they really rivet nuts?

Thanks, poly1963. I figured there was a text somwewhere on the Centerlines.

Well, if possible, i would be nice to find out whar make the wheels are, if any... don't know if this helps, but here's a pic of the back. Cleaned it up a bit - no trace of any writing here either.

Definately not a Centerline wheel. Centerlines are spun aluminum and this wheel is cast with a uni-lug pattern. BTW, the valve stems can have the nut inside or outside, depending on the brand. The wheel manufacturers don't make them. IF they're provided with the wheel, they are sourced from a vendor, so identity can't be made based on the valve stem.
