Thanks everybody. I'm kinda windind-down in the hobby. The 3 cars I have now, are the longest I've ever owned anything. The third one is a "Chrysler Camaro"[aka 70 `cuda] that was my ma's car. It's going to be a resto mod, but other than the wheels/tires...it'll look stock. It's gettin' a 6.4 and NAG1. So it's the silver WO car, the `cuda ragtop, and my Carlton-built prostock Aspen. Think I'm gonna sell the Aspen...then the WO.

Hey their tell me more I have a 67 Hemi Coronet RT restoration going on doing body final repairs and then next is Assembly . lead work all done, next is dana goes back in.

Here's the article on the WO car.......

It was a POS shell with the hemi body parts and vins. Lots of metal from 2 other cars went into making look correct again. I wish they made panels for those vintage cars, as it would have saved a ton of work and dollars. I had a choice of a resto or racecar....went the racecar route. The original 55 were all the same.......boring and slow. I redid the car as the rules for superstock had evolved to the point when it was built. It's very light[scaled at 3180], and has lots of little stuff done that aren't noticeable. As of this year, it became street legal with a pump-gas 496[851hp], exhaust system, and all working lights. It no longer has the chute and wheelie bars. This year it's getting a Vankeized intake and AFB's, along with a acid-dipped steel hood and NOS steel scoop. Sorta taking it more towards it's Glory-Days with Jack Thomas.

Good luck and have fun with the R/T. Thanks to all...friendly bunch.
