Hi guys,
My name is James, I'm from Milwaukee. I currently have two project cars, my 1980 Mazda RX7 (hence my username- I try to keep things simple and use the same username on every forum) and a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II sedan. I come from a MoPar lineage, my dad has had enough vintage tin to start his own dealership. The Belvedere was his beater, but when I got wind he wanted to sell it, I told him I was interested and it became mine. Currently he only has a '67 Dart project and my brother has (formerly my dad's) '68 Coronet. My first memories are tied up in the Coronet, it's been in my family since before I was born. Through the years, I remember my father owning a '71 'Cuda, a handful of Darts (one of which was the first car I ever drove), and more Rams and Dodge vans than we can count. I previously had a '72 Dart 4-door as well.

The Belvedere has been out of use for a couple years, however this year I want to get it back on the road and take it on a couple legs of the Power Tour. Ambitious, I know. I parked the Belvedere because the brakes were toast and the steering is going (needs tie rods and an idler arm), and I wanted to concentrate on my RX7. I'm going to fix the steering issues, upgrade to a dual-pot master cylinder with a full brake job, along with try and get a mild smallblock together in time for June. Here's a few pictures for your enjoyment.

A lot of people ask me, why a 4-door? Well, I don't know why. I have this sick obsession with trying to save the least desirable cars. The only problem I run into is trying to find weatherstripping and whatnot.

Anyway I look forward to visiting this site, seeing and posting pictures of people's projects and beautiful rides.

new to site myself .I like the 4 door. got a couple projects the newest just got a 66 coronet 440.good luck with ride
