I bought bucket seats and a complete dash out of a 68 Charger to start the clone. Numbers matching guys eat your heart out

nice ,looking like you got your hands full looking forward to your threads on this build :headbang:

Floors look pretty nice. Don't toss that A/C stuff, sell it to fund your project. You know one man's junk its another ones treasure.

"Yeap" I've sold many parts that I wasn't going to use including the A/C to fund my car. Good luck with the Bee

Sounds like it will be a great build, and yes if you do decide to sell some of the A/C stuff keep me in mind for the HVAC control panel and the old glove box door for my 69 Coronet.

Looks like you've got a good solid start to your clone. That's going to save you some time AND money.

I stripped the rally dash down to the frame and welded the A/C holes shut. It is getting painted now, I will post pictures soon.

Small indoor winter projects for the car.

I did not like the ugly green interior color, so I purchased black interior paint from herbsparts.com. It came out really nice. I made sure to scrub the dash pads with soap and water real well, and then wiped them down with rubbing alcohol.

I also dyed the green seat belts with black rits dye from Wal-Mart in boiling water. They also turned out really nice. I painted the green plastic holder with Herbs and it looks great. It is very strong.

I purchased a dash cap from remautoinc.com that fit excellent

Below are pictures.

does that herbs dye stuff work good ?

It comes in a spray can and works awesome. My buddy purchased new pads from yearone for his charger and we couldn't see a difference.

This is the nasty weathered dash that is in it now. The smell is so damn rank! (If anyone wants anything off this dash or the whole thing let my know I will cut you a good deal)

This is the complete low mile 440 I bought for it, but unfortuanetly dropped a valve into cylinder 8 and raised all sorts of hell

This is an original power brake booster from a 69 GTX that I had rebuilt. I am going to install it. I ordered the firewall plate and adjustable rod from Mancini.

Good luck with your build Chryco but I really don't see the point of being needlessly antagonistic

I picked the frame up yesterday and started putting it back together.
