After much thought (for obvious reasons), finally installed a set of hood pins on my 69 Road Runner. Instead of using the existing inboard radiator support bolt holes, I elected to drill new holes based on the A12 lift-off hood cars. In my opinion, these place the hood bezels more towards the leading front edge of the hood for a better look. Just my opinion. Purchased kit from Year One and happy with result. Not often a project results in cool look AND safety element! (Check out photo). Tip: After drilling a 1" hole in the inside of the hood, go to a home center and purchase some round rubber grommets that feature an outer groove. These finish off the hold nicely and can hide a less-than-perfect drill effort.

It took me awhile to sack up and drill holes for them too but I like them, I did the same with the grommets. Looks great!

I'd love to see some pictures with the hood open

Don't be shy, lets see some detail pic's ...

I followed this guide when I did mine. Since i wanted the 6 bbl hood I tried to at least do it correctly. Have seen those on the radiator support before as well.
