Hey guys! What fuel stabilizers do you run, if any? I add a a couple ounces of Lucas Oil Safegaurd Ethanol conditioner to each tank.

I don't use anything in my daily drivers and right now I don't have a hot rod running but whenever I fill up the 5 gallon jug for the garden tractor and other small engines, I double dose with Sta-Bil Marine.

I have a troy built generator with a briggs and straton motor. I haven't used it in 4 years. The power went out a few days ago in the middle of cooking dinner so i wheel the thing out. 4 year old gas with no additive in the fuel. Started first pull and ran perfectly. I kid you not. First pull. Blew my mind. I thought for sure it was gonna be hopeless

No ethanol in the fuel where you live? 4 years is a long time even ethanol free fuel. I would go ahead and run it out and put in some fresh stuff.....

Sta-Bil long term 09 Challenger storage. Amsoil 100:1 marine, an once every other tank in Coronet more for ethanol battle.

motor medic lead substitute in the rods with out hardened seats, and sta-bil in everything but the daily drivers... Anything long term stored out side gets gas line anti freeze once before winter and once after winter, although this year I don't have anything stored outside, I used to store my lifted tj outside and my 7.3 f350 plow truck, both of which I sold recently since I took home my volvo skid steer and have a new unlimited rubicon that I store inside...

Likewise, I use the Lucas stuff too if I'm not running 100 race gas.

I use the MAC's Fuel Stabilizer that you can get at the NAPA store for about half of the cost of Sta-Bil. The MAC's rep told me it's the same stuff.

I'll check it out. There's a NAPA store about 8 miles down the road.....

Okay - apologize for the dumb questions but I haven't driven my X since dirt was new. Long story - but I have no idea of the ramification of today's low octane unleaded, ethanol loaded gas on my 440 (now a 494) six pack. I live in CA and we can only get 91 octane gas. There is a ethanol free station near my house. I was told I need at least 93 octane fuel. Help me out - what do I add to it to make it the fuel my car will enjoy and keep the motor in good shape? This is a big concern of mine - not sure what to do here. I found a place that sells 110 octane for $10 a gallon but it's also a drive from my house. L

Looking for other options and you guys seems to know the best paths. Little help?
