If you plan on using a CUSTOM BODY SHOP in the city limits of Ventura, CA, PM me. Contact me and i will tell you where NOT to go.................

Once I got "BAR" involved, the "CROOK" rolled over immediately. An 11 hour verbal agreement which should have been a charge for 15 hours of labor, after a few modifications to the original job...........the "CROOK" billed me for 43 hours. I was more than generous and told "BAR" I could live with a 20 hour labor charge. The issue was settled at 20 hours.....................

Not to mention I had to fix a few problems from the work they did. Such as putting 3 quarts too many in the automatic transmission. Probably a ploy to get the car back into their shop...........I would NOT take a car to this guy if he was the LAST shop in town.

I do NOT like to "bad mouthing anyone".... My advise is to CONTACT your LOCAL "BAR" office and inquire on the shop you intend on using and see if they had any complaints. Of course, this is NOT a sure solution ..........this shop did NOT have any complaints until mine. I'm sure he has been getting away with his scam for quite some time.............

GIVES YOU A VERBAL QUOTE........PUTS NOTHING IN WRITING...........DOES NOT APPRISE YOU OF HIS INTENT..........GIVES YOU A BILL FOR MORE THAN TWICE WHAT THE VERBAL AGREEMENT WAS AND DOES not ACKNOWLEDGE THE VERBAL AGREEMENT !!!
