So finally have the opportunity to put wheels on Stella, and im torn. I've decided on a tire size, 235/60-15, and I have a line on a set of 15x8 steelies I want. Can I fit an 8 up front on a 73 b body? The rear isn't going to be a problem, and I don't want alot of sidewall stretch that a 15x7s will give, nor do I want a staggered size arrangement(I'll leave the big n Littles look to the guys with hot small blocks & big blocks and sure grips)

Will a 15x8 rim work up front or am I going to have an issue? I know the tire size will fit no issues, but alot of what I'm finding shows not alot of guys doing an 8 up front, or I'm just not seeing it. I think it'll be a real nice look and fill the wheelwell up nicely without affecting rear ratio & etc

Thoughts?

I had a 74 Road Runner with 15x8 on the front and 15x10 on the rear. Never really had any trouble with that setup (that I recall).

I wouldn't anticipate any real issues, other than maybe lock to lock turning. Maybe a rub on the frame.

Game on then, I'll post pics when everything is set up and bolted on

Thanks!

You shouldn't have a problem.

I have 245.60/15 on 15x8 w/ 4 1/2" back space on the front,
&
275.60/15 on 15x10 w/ 5" backspacing on the rear.

Looks great, don't rub, or stick out
