Hey Guys..

I have recently stumbled upon a collection of Mopar parts and bought them all..

In the pile there was this K member in the bunch.. It has a label on it saying "1970 Superbird"

I can't say for sure what it is so I need some help identifying it and seeing what it's exactly worth..

It has been lightly modified that are included in the detailed pictures ..

Any help will be very much appreciated..

Thanks so much!!

Unless its a Hemi member it is just a standard member that someone has butchered for some reason or other. The Superbird scribbling is just that.

I understand that.. I have heard multiple people tell me it was a Hemi k member

Judging from the hemi k members I have seen it should have had an oil pan skid plate. I see now signs of one ever being attached to that.

That coin with the 94 stamped on it says it's from a 1970 B-body with a 426 Hemi and if my eyes don't deceive me that's a skid plate. It'll also have a date code stamped on it just to the left of the coin right above the eye hook. That being said it's in rough shape.

A clear picture of the mount perches would show if it's a V8 or Hemi frame.

It does appear to have had the motor mount bracket mounts removed. The welding at the seams and weird thing welded to the bottom of the skid plate surely do NOT add any $$$ value either.
I wouldn't junk it. It can be restored if someone cars to spend the time. Not worth big bucks as is though.
