Is there a special hood scoop insert for cars with hood blinkers and a different one for cars without? I am trying to see if you can just take a dremel tool and open the recessed areas in the molded scoop and add the blinkers.

Yes you can cut them out. You will need the turn signals before cutting for measurement reference. I was going to do the same, but bought a factory piece from Tony's.

I've had both inserts & I don't think the non-signal ones have the studs on the back to hold the blinkers in. (not positive) Those little blinkers are expensive and a little tough to find the last time I looked, but they might be reproduced now. Maybe you could find just the blinkers and epoxy them in place? OR buy the insert already cut out? OR maybe they do have two little studs on the non-signal ones too and I just can't remember right.

I also have the insert without the indicator lights. I would also like to put them in. I had a look at the back of my insert, and there does not appear to be a mounting system for them. Yes, they could be epoxied in, but I personally intend to find the correct insert if I can.

I'm pretty sure both types of inserts are readily available, as are the indicator lights. For some reason, Tony's parts comes to mind for both. I think the insert is around 100, and the lights are around 300 a set.
