I'm looking for info on 10" drum brake spindles. 11" info would be good also.

I'm looking for the distance from the last thread to the rear face. I'm having a disk brake conversion issue that I need to solve.

Thanks.

My 68 Road Runner had 11 inch drums. Looks like about 3 and 3/4 inches. See pictures.

BTW what are you doing with the old drum components? Too much stuff and too heavy to really store and most likely never used again?

Interesting, exact same spacing as mine. The drums I took off are 10" though. I wonder if the spindles are different. Will need someone with 10" to post.

I measured my drums on the interior of the drum.

I was going to post them on here to see if anyone wanted to fork over some money for them.

Okay. Shipping would be >$200, so I thought no one would want these items. I may just keep the spindles and backing since my drums are beyond turning.

$200 to ship a set of drums! It that a bike courier from Seattle to New York?

I've got a 69 satellite that has the 10 inch drums. The spindles and hubs are the same.

So it the consensus that there is no difference between the spindles for 10" and 11" drum brakes?
