Hi everyone, who can help me solve a doubt?
in the 318 stock with radiator stock without air conditioning we go to the Radiator Fan Shroud?
my car is a coronet 68

My '68 Satellite with a small block (318, factory) and the RV2 AC compressor (factory, by fender tag) came with a shroud on the factory radiator. I'd assume the non-AC 318 car was the same, and that the same applied to the Dodge cousin.

Incidentally, that radiator shroud had also broken into pieces. I'm running the car with an aftermarket KKS radiator and no shroud at the moment, and though I'd always recommend a shroud, the combination cools exceptionally well in the Florida heat.

Ahh, in that case...........

wonder if all the coronet of 68 with 318 engine without air conditioning, the fan shroud

Probably. If it was spec'ed with the AC car, then it would have fit the non-AC. Not a guarantee of originality, but highly probable.

EDIT: Not so, according to the FSM mentioned below. Go figure.

In all the photos of the engine compartment, I have never seen one, only with air conditioning
who has a photo where do you see it?

Assuming that Dodge and Plymouth did things the same and that there was no change from '68 to '69, the '69 FSM lists the 318 with a shroud only if it was A/C equipped. The police/taxi models however, had 26" vs the 19" radiator WITH a shroud regardless of the A/C option.

Interesting. Looks like I was wrong in my initial assumption.

Anything to save a buck, eh?

I have never seen a 19" radiator in a V-8, although I know that is what is specified in the FSM. My '72 BBody 318 auto without A/C has an aftermarket 22", 7 blade fixed fan, and no shroud.

MY '65 Barracuda Formula S (A body) 273 CID has the factory 22" radiator, and a fixed 6 blade fan, looks like it may have had a factory shroud but it is missing.

I saw that on the interchange book book, which speaks of a super cooling option, only in the radiator of 26, but does not mention that in the 22nd radiator.
the radiator from 19 is not mentioned, perhaps for slant 6
