Anybody try this new coolant reservoir offered on ebay auction number 221683784714? I just don't see where it would mount on my 70 Charger?

Is that the one in this picture?

The one pictured above is a 73 to 74 E-Body application. The first year for a radiator overflow bottle for the B-Body application that we have found is the 71 year model. Even then, it is very difficult to find a car originally equipped in this fashion. The first year that these overflow bottles became pretty much standard equipment would be 73.

So if your looking for something to work as recovery tank for a 70 B-Body, your pretty much wide open to find something that you can fabricate into working.

I like Frankenstein's method of mounting to the battery tray. I have one of those 1/2 gallon cylinder type overflows mounted on the passenger inner fender under the horn. 69b is correct, no stock overflow on a 1970

Even in 73 was questionable.

My RL21 car has A/C but it has a fixed fan and no coolant overflow bottle!!

Ok thanks for the help. I may try one. I am surprised my 72 imperial doesn’t have one either. I may add one to both.
