Welcome, I've got a black one. They are easy to love. It looks like the interior is real nice. What is the gas cap? It looks good on there.

Hi Don,
It's a locking gas cap the previous owner recenting put on there. Not sure of the make or source. The interior is a fairly recent Legendary package. I just need a recovered driver side front armrest pad.

I love Satellites. This is my second 66. The first I bought at age 19 (1972), silver with red interior, 318 and 727. A year later I replaced that setup with a 383/4 speed from a wrecked 70 Road Runner. My Dad sad I was gonna kill myself in that car. But I never wrecked it once.

You can buy a reproduction armrest and paint it. The herb's paint is good stuff.

Also SEM paint for upholstery works very well. May even be what Herb sells under his name. SEM products can be purchased through O' Riley's. I used it on my armrests, door panels, and rear seat. Tip is to clean, clean, clean, and follow directions closely.......................MO

Cool car and welcome from Germany to Iowa I am far away but have some strong ties to Iowa for decades, was there in May last time, even in the Cedar Rapids area. Great place to drive and even the cops are friendly there...

I was in Werthiem, Germany while in the Army, January 1977-August 1979. Travelled quite a bit while on duty, but did not take full advantage of the off-duty opportunities while I was there.
