I have a 62 with a bench and the center armrest. The red cover below came with the car and appears to be for driver's side. No other cover included.

I see new and used cover sets for sale with my cover and a longer cover.

What's up with that?
I don't think my passenger side hinge is different, is the passenger side supposed to be longer?

Would those be longer for the outer hinge? Do the seats go forward and inwards? To make more room to get into the rear seat? The longer hinge on the outboard would make the seat go slightly inwards. Just a thought. I could be wrong.

Not sure. My seat has been redone and it is all wrapped up in storage, but the seat below is it exactly.

I pulled a nice pair of gold hinge covers from a 64 a few years ago.

They are different lengths.

The longer is the "exact" same as my 66.

I was going to use the one on my 66 but I don't think I can bring myself to separate a nice factory set.

I should post them for same here.

Now I'm confused, my 64 has a bench and they are the exactly same length, longer. It's a wagon, so the seat doesn't move though.

Can't find a decent pic of the pass side on the web. Looks like I'll have to pull my seat out and see if the passenger hinge is longer. If it isn't I'll be stumped.

2 door with 60/40 bench, pass side longer, makes sense as that side of the seat is longer.
4 door with bench with armrest, pass side longer, doesn't matter with 4 door as seat doesn't move
For a 2 door with this seat it would seem a longer hinge on pass side would not work as both sides are the same size and the armrest is in the middle.

I have an old set from a bench pretty sure 2-door as they match ones on my car and those are bucket seats.

I found pics of a 63 with the bench/armrest, pass side is longer.

My 1962 bench seat centre armrest has both the long & short as per your chrome ones.
They have a screw and small bracket to attach

I have a 60/40 bench seat (without armrest)(Like the blue interior) . My hinges have a metal clip up high/ but no clip at the lower end. Am I missing a clip to mount the hinge covers ?

There is a clip on top for the screw, and also a clip on the bottom for the screw that is at the base of the hinge cover.

Fyi, my passenger side cover is warped and the top part of it will not stay put, so I put a zip tie around it and the seat hinge.
Not ideal, but I do not want the chrome covers.

I must be missing the lower clips, Thanks

I just did mine yesterday. '63 Dodge 330, 60/40 bench. Sides are different lengths. 2 clips, one upper, and lower, 4 screws. Drivers side is shorter.

Any chance you could talke a picture of the clips that the screws go into ?
The car went on the lift yesterday, and working on splash shields today. If I get a chance, and can open a door, possibly later, or maybe I can get one off my '65...

My '63 had caps over the rod ends, instead of that cotter pin. You can adjust the upper mount to where it aligns.
