can someone post a picture of the inside of a stock Trunk ?

Specifically how the Factory seamed the floor , to the inner quarter panels .
Across floor and up the inner quarter .

I want to see if mine was patched or redone years ago

Thx

After paint but no work done to trunk Don't know if it's much help.

Thx ODZKing
Did Dodge / Chrysler use an adhesive
Sealant where the floor meets the quarters ?

I guess what I’m asking is , does it look like someone schmeered caulking on the joint and up on the inside quarters , then factory paint on top ?

Seam sealer around the wheel wells, trunk extension and along the channels for the trunk lid.
Here is what it looked like along the extensions and wells when I was stripping it down, you can see where I removed it. The quarter panel to trunk channel was left untouched in original condition as there surprisingly was no rust there.

By the way, the body service manual will show you where the sealer goes on the entire car!

If anyone else has a photo of the inside of theirs I would appreciate seeing it thanks again guys

I’ll post a few pictures of mine later

Yes, that is exactly what mine looks like. A lot of goo at the seams, filler or seam sealer sprayed over.

Thank you for the pictures YY1

I know the rear outside quarters where painted on my car in the 90’s

It looks like they sealed the seams in the trunk and repainted inside ( possibly ) when they did the rear .

( the sealer is flexible and you can feel it’s flex )

The underside of my car looks like the whole underside is consistent . I don’t see signs of a new trunk being replaced .

I bought her from a friends Father in-law who I know has owned it since
2007 where he’s had it in dry storage .

I just purchased the car last month .
I’m trying to decider it’s life .
