Greetings!
I rode in a Superbird my cousin had when I was 15 and was in awe. Now I'm 63 and I still have that feeling when I see one. I'm not able to afford one but am just starting on a clone. Have had a 70 Satellite for about 5 years. One that I sold to move to Florida and then another I bought two years ago when we moved back to Missouri. I just took delivery of everything that Stinger fiberglass makes for it including their front fenders (minus the rear window plug) and am starting on it. I have a complete 440 and a 727 in the basement from a running Chrysler that will go in it. I have a long way to go on this but am retiring soon from 27 years as a trainer at Moog and now an automotive college instructor. We just sold a 1956 Chris Craft wooden speed boat to pay for the bird conversion kit. We also own a 1952 Ford F-2 pickup with the original V-8 flat head that is pretty cool. We have had many Chevelles, Camaros, a 73 Challenger and a Nomad but now are heading further down the road to Mopar heaven. If anyone has any advice or tips or warnings-I would love to hear them! Thanks!
