Yeah. They first move to Florida, decide they don't like it and head back north...
only to stop in TN and decide they like it here.

In other words, they only made it halfway back. :)

Well, it's been known to happen.
After all, the Great Smokies National Park is the most visited national park in the country (10Million+ per year!).
That Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg corridor generates over $1Billion in tourist bux per year.
We like folks to visit and spend money, long as they go home after. :)

The place has gone apes*** since those days. The rod runs down there are stupid thick with people
anymore, so much so that I don't go anymore. I'm not big on crowds.

Hell of a ride for a biker for sure. Another one that isn't a secret anymore, though.
Tourist season, the thing gets pretty crowded.
Dumbest part is when some 18-wheeler ignores all the signs and listens to his GPS -
that gets downright DANGEROUS.

My son performs at the Smokey Mountain Opry in Pidgeon Forge, We are going this weekend to see him

No it's the first one in a few years that I missed. Worked until 3:30 Saturday morning trying to finish up tax season work. I also had to pay for my paint for RR Friday which absolutely put a damper on everything. I swear this time this is my last restoration :screwy:
