We have a 68 Valiant, Ford 9" rear end with a 4 link and coil overs. When you floor it, the front end lunges up and to the right. Not sure if an adjustment will fix this, or what the problem is. Anyone know how to adjust a 4 link to make it pull more to the left on acceleration? I'll try and post some pics of the rear suspension soon. Help! I don't know much about this type of rear end 4 link torque control set up.

You need to check if the housing is square in the cat and whether it has preload with the driver in the seat (or equivalent weight). From one of the best.

Real informative videos Doug, thanks.

I don't have a 4 bar but need more preload on right, at least that's the way with cal traks........

That is a 5 link and with ujoint angles you need to look at the other end as well so they will cancel each other

That is the awesome power of the Mighty Mopar.

Check your front suspension out also. Not always from the rear.

Yes, I'm going to check centering, and alignment.
Then I'll add some positive pre load to the right side ,by lengthening the top right link slightly. See if that works. Mines a 4 link with a wishbone.

It usually doesn't take a lot of preload. Too much right side preload will make it go left. Unequal rear tire rollout can effect it as well. Measure the circumference with a cloth (sewing style) tape measure while the tires are off. Make sure you have driver weight in the seat. The car may not be level side to side when your done. This is not an issue. Get it right and it'll leave straight as an arrow.

Left top bar set pinion angle and right top bar sets preload as mentioned.

1/2 turn at a time is all you need to go. If you never set this car up I would set the bar neutral and go from there, it may already have way too much preload in it. If you have access to scales I would set your weight up first. Not sure what spring adjustments you have.
