Goodbye Old Wallet

Yeah - some great tips here; among those if ya find a wallet you like...buy an extra one. My new one is a bit shallower than my old one and remember not liking that before...hindsight in my case is not 20/20! I haven't thrown out my old one yet...kinda think it should have some sort of closing ceremony for it before deep sixing...lol.

My Mom gets them for me at some flea market in Florida. Something with Barn in it. Told her to get 2 or three if she finds a tri-fold with the easy remove window for the license. Last me a lifetime.

No, But I have had that RING.....

There are certain items I don't relish having to replace and my wallet is one of them. Finally did it today...was overdue. I had duct taped it some months ago and further deterioration made doing it again kinda risky to keep things contained. Ya know it takes time to break in, take a set to mate with the ***, and is hassle free. And the last couple times I looked for a new wallet never found one that seemed as nice as the old one. Now I could use a pliers to yank out the credit cards and parted with **** deep inside that shoulda been gone years ago like the 2012 calendar card. Well, goodbye old wallet. My new one feels like a chunk of wood against my ***!

I found a wallet I like about 10 years ago & bought two. The one I currently use still has plenty of life in it, so I'm probably all set with wallets for the rest of my life. ....As long as I can remember in my old age that I have a 2nd one & where I put it.

Thought maybe you were buying a steering wheel or grille on here. That’ll remove your wallet too.

Kind of ironic since I live in Colorado and a friend brought me a wallet from Australia. It has a kangaroo on it, don't know what the leather is from.
Somethin's tellin me it might be Kangaroo...

Man, this thread got me thinking. I have been driving since I was 16 (like most of us). I am 48 now and I do not recall ever replacing my wallet, ever. Yes, it has seen better days, looks a bit wore out and flat as can be since I carry the bare min. Have I really gone 32 years on the same wallet????

I have a buddy with a very old wallet...that's cuz he never pulls it out when it comes time to pay for coffee, beer, etc. He waits for the rest of us to yank out our wallets first before he reaches for his..lol.
