She should rot in jail.

That sick psycho is so ugly she’d make an onion cry
So now ugly people should all be considered psycho's. She may think you are just as ugly but that doesn't excuse her actions or anyone else's that think bodily harm is the answer. Any one that want to make themselves judge, jury and executioner are just as dam sick as she is.

Man, calm down I don't think that was what 70 is saying. Sick psycho, yes. He just added the appearance bit.

It's easy to say that she appears to be a very disturbed girl with deep rooted psychological problems. I'm not sure of what to do with people like that but what effing good would they do with their freedom.

Mental health is a big issue that many don't see. Alabama closed most all facilities of this type some years ago, when they needed to fund more. To top it off, it was done while we had a hypocrite doctor as governor.

There's more and more of them every day, these wastes of human flesh without souls...
Totally devoid of compassion or a sense of right vs. wrong.

Can't fix 'em, illegal to kill 'em….what ya gonna do?

I am curious, does this situation make her more or less evil verses she committing murder?

I always say, I can murder one person in my life because I’ll be behind bars for the rest of it when I do it.

She would be the one and only murder I’d commit, happily!

So she urged him on to commit suicide, he finally did it, she went to jail.

So, my question is this......if someone is standing on the ledge of a building, threatening to jump, people on the street yelling “jump”, should they be put in jail?

At some point “personal responsibility” has to take affect. When does it happen?

You do have a good point. I'm sure the whole story has not been out there. Still mental health is the bigger issue.

It happened when this scumbag urged him to finish the job rather that call for help. It brings attention to enact new laws since this is a new situation that hasn't been brought to this much attention before.

Talking to my acquaintance at work that had the victim and his mother living with him, he said he describes her with one word. Diabolical.

I’m sure there’s more to it than the public knows. And because of that, we are basing our opinions on what is out rather than all the facts we aren’t privy to.

The whole story is out there. This poor young man was mentally ill and could have been saved if his so called girlfriend just called his parents or police. She was supposedly mentally ill but she was evil. She encouraged him to kill himself and thats the bottom line.
You mentioned a person threatening to jump and the crowd below yelling jump. Ive heard that rumor but never actually heard it happing. Either way try it with police on the scene and see what happens
No doubt she took a plea, but she should have done second degree as a adult, no matter nothing is bring back that young man and nothing is erasing the suffering of his family.
This young woman will be tormented by her actions for the rest of her life
Suicide is brought on by severe depression, there is no personal responsibility, thats BS, the person is as sick as a person suffering from advanced cancer.

So no responsibility on him or his parents? No right to free speech? These are young men/women, not kids, and therefore should be treated as so.

So if I were to tell someone, take s walk off a short pier, they do, they die, am I responsible for that death? Some common sense goes a long way.

It probably wasn't his first time attempting suicide most likely. I am sure he was contemplating it for awile at the least. She is complicit but hardly fully responsable. How responsible is she? That is hard to say without being close to the case, who knows.

Well just think of all the mental ill people and those they took with them that could have been saved if society gave a dam. Think about it slow and hard. Did the system fail one person or two. The one no one any longer has to worry about and the others problems have only begun. Prison solves not a dam thing for the mentally ill. Do your time and out the door approach serves no one.

Not sure. If my Ex sent me a thousand texts a day, I wouldn’t end it all. I’d get another phone. And I’m not very stable either.

I’ll agree with ya Dennis!

Ridiculous reasoning. If someone leads a healthy lifestyle all their lives and suddenly at 65 develops heart disease are they responsible or is it just the way life goes? His parents knew as reported he was struggling with depression but obviously not aware to the extent as it can be hidden.
I have no clue as to what the free speech reference is about but no free speech does not mean encouraging a mentally ill person to kill themselves anymore than it does shouting fire in a crowd when there is no fire and creating havoc and danger.
