I would like to change my bf radial ta’s to a redline tire. Coker makes the new radial redline with the bias ply look. The largest size they offer is the GR70/15 which would convert to a 225/70/15. I am running that tire size up front with a 15x7 rim. Has anyone used that size tire on a 15x8 rim? Looking for some pics. My current rear tire is a 275/60/15.

Check out Diamondback tires. They do custom redlines on anything you want, drag radials included.

True that! Anything with a red line is gonna be $$$$$

Edit: summit wants $397/tire for the proper G70x15 Goodyear bias redline for an A12 car. The Firestone redline radial lookalikes are only $320. Then there is tax, mount and balance.. Heck, they might not even ship them free, they are oversize.

Last I checked, Diamondback and Coker prices were pretty comparable. I like the Diamondback III BF Goodrich T/A Radial red lines, but they do red lines on less expensive radials as well.

I went for the Diamondbacks. There are quite a few negative reviews on the other brands out there. A lot of out of round and balance issues.
The Toyo Diamondbacks are on the car and it goes down the highway real smooth.

Wow, I can't imagine what redlines cost in New Zealand!

Don't know which one or maybe both brands, but I hear they fade to a pink and almost whitish color if driven a lot as a fair weather driver?

On my Coronet I have Coker red line radials. On my Barracuda I have Diamondback III red line radials. On my Coronet's tires I get an ugly white film and have to clean them often. The red stripe has not faded on either car's tires, but my personal preference for overall appearance and color, is the Diamondback tires. In all fairness, the tires on my Coronet are several years older. I don't know if more recent Coker products have addressed the issue or not. In the first picture, I wiped off some of the film with a finger to show the difference. The second picture is Diamondback III. Neither car (nor tires) have been washed since last fall.

The Coker radial redlines that my car came with rode/drove like garbage. I put new Coopers on and it’s a day and night difference.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Jim 68cuda, are the diamond back 3 bf radial ta’s?
