Are The Lights On The Hood Supposed To Blink Like Turn Signals or Just Turn On With The Park Lamps On a 69 Charger?

Never saw the hood lights on a Charger that came on with the parking lights unless someone wired them that way. I wired my parking lights on my first 66 Belvedere to come on and stay on with the head lights like the newer cars were done. Thought it was cool looking on them. The turn indicators on my 71 Cuda blinked with the turn signals but didn't stay on with the parking lights. Couldn't see the passenger side indicator though....

Yes. As stated in the other thread, one of the wires you spliced into is incorrect.

Front end lighting for 69: Black/yellow - parking aka marker lights. Black/lgt. green - left turn signal. Black/tan - right turn signal. Under hood heat and fumes often causes insulation colors to fade or alter with time, so check original harnesses carefully.

Yup....and that's usually hard enough for ones that are NOT shade blind....like I am.

I Spliced One Hood Turn Signal Wire Into The Yellow/Black Wire Coming From One Front Signal Light And The Other Wire I Tapped Into The Green/Black From The Other Signal Light.

I Will Look For The Black And Tan Wire

I Just Took Both Front Turn Signals Out And Splced Into Whatever Wires I Saw Tracers On. Thought The Other One Was a Black Wire
