Norwalk is opening regardless !

Monster Mopar 4 day event is, i think in august. Norwalk is great strip, with a beautiful wooded campground.
 
Not gonna happen.. mark my words. Not sure why people don't get it. Biggest Mopar car show in Canada is cancelled already for this year, notion is out there that there will be ZERO concerts until at least the Fall of 2021... etc..
 
IMO, If the China-Virus lockdown goes to the fall of 2021; car shows would be the least of our worries.
 
Yup , Health first, make sure everything is safe, Novelties second.
 
I Wish Them the Best of Luck in This. If they run their Events, I'm going. It's not living if your in a bubble, your just existing. I've never raced my Challenger, but why save it at this point...

I live 1/2 hour from Norwalk (it will always be “Norwalk” to me).
Been racing there since the early 90’s.
I’ve watched Bader transform that track into a world class facility.
I hope we can put this behind us, safely, and enjoy some kind of racing season.

Empty roads are resulting in an increase in speeding tickets. A surge in 100+MPH tickets has been reported.
CoronaVirus Street Racing is alive....
Unfortunately the police and paramedics most be pulled away from taking care of CV calls and patients when there’s a speed related crash...

I hope this works out for Norwalk RaceWay. I truly hope the racers in attendance remain courteous to the police, as we all know they will show up to stop the event.

Did you notice that the people with money seem to be recovering from the coronavirus with very few issues? I suppose that's a benefit of having money, recognition and being well connected. The COVID instant testing will come soon enough, but it's not gonna help anything. It's a coronavirus, and it has the capability to mutate at any time, making vaccines nearly useless.

I see the country opening for business gradually in the next couple of weeks regardless of the virus. Survival of the fittest and those with best ins. and most $ will be the ticket. Healthy and young people will not stand to be shut down much loner. Old people like me will say, "I give a chit anymore."
Drugs are coming forth that will help those curable that respond to these meds., the rest will die off. More deaths will be charged off to flu.
A new norm
 
It's ok to be in an enclosed grocery store, drug store, hardware store, gas station, auto parts store, but NOT an out door drag strip ? Hmmmm
